Description

An old and hardy European plum, probably originating from Central Europe. It produces small to medium-sized oval plums that are bluish-purple to almost black and covered with a heavy bloom. The yellow to yellow-green flesh is firm, relatively dry, mildly sweet and aromatic. The fruit is particularly well suited to drying, cooking, preserving and traditional desserts, while also being good for fresh eating.
