Description
'Eden' is a Quebec-developed cultivar resulting from a cross between 'Linda' and 'Jonamac' at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. It produces medium to large, firm, crisp, juicy and highly aromatic apples. One of its most distinctive characteristics is its very low browning after cutting, making it particularly suitable for fresh eating, fruit salads, dried apple chips and processing. The fruit also tends to remain on the tree after reaching maturity.
